Moreno Valley Community Park is a 15-acre city park at 13380 Frederick Street that anchors the city's recreational core. It is the site of the city's Community Park Soccer Complex — four lit turf fields that were resurfaced in 2018 with a $2.6 million cool-fill synthetic turf investment, now used year-round by AYSO, club teams, and tournaments. Adjacent to the fields is Community Skate Park, the city's street-focused skate facility (ramps, rails, stairs, LED lighting) that the Parks & Community Services Department officially lists on its Open Play schedule. The park also includes a children's playground (slides, swings, ladders on a wood-chip surface), four reservable picnic shelters (numbered 7-10) with grills and tables, a 1.4-mile paved walking loop around the fields, stadium lighting for evening play, public restrooms, a small concession area, and free ILoveMoVal WiFi throughout the park.
