Cottonwood Golf Center is the City of Moreno Valley's municipal 9-hole golf course, located at 13671 Frederick Street just off Frederick Street near City Hall. The par-28 layout measures 1,226 yards from the longest tees (USGA rating 22, slope 113) and is built for short-game work, beginners, and quick rounds — eight par 3s and a single par 4 on hole #3. Green fees are tiered for residents (non-residents pay 30% more): weekday adult $11.50 / senior $7.50 / youth $6.25, and weekend adult $14 / senior $11.50 / youth $9. Twilight pricing (one hour before dusk) flattens to $7.50 for everyone. A 10-round punch card ($94.75 adult) and a 9-hole tournament rate ($15) are also offered, plus a separate 9-hole disc golf option. Carts and club rentals run $3.60 weekday / $6.25 weekend. The Center hosts The First Tee Life Skills Experience Program for ages 5-17 — an after-school, character-education golf curriculum built around The First Tee's Nine Core Values (contact: sports@moval.org).
